Casa Andina Select Tacna

This was my first time in Tacna and only made a one-night stop here as I was making my way to Arica, Chile. Definitely the best hotel in the city and walking distance to the main square. A one-night/one-day stay is more than enough to visit this city. We requested early check-in (12 Noon to 1PM) but they were not able to accommodate our request we decided to enjoy lunch at their restaurant while we waited for our suite to be ready. They stored our luggage at the Front Desk while we were at lunch. We booked a Junior Suite and were assigned #818 on the top floor - the Junior Suite was quite spacious and worth the $121USD nightly rate (including tax).

The hotel was great. Everything we needed it to be for a quick overnight stay. The facilities were good, the room was excellent, the restaurant was good, the breakfast has plenty of variety and the staff were excellent. A big shout out to Pierre in the bar and restaurant who gave exceptional service and to Carman who was very friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable room, beds and excellent shower. The staff is kind and helpful, especially Alejandra at the restaurant. Very good breakfast, but some GF and DF options are missing. Much better the menu for lunch and dinner. Very good location, close to restaurants and shops. Safe parking garage.

We loved the staff, who were very helpful. Good parking, spotlessly clean, good location. Excellent burgers. Highly recommended!
